WORK PERMIT IN TURKEY
Foreigners have to hold a work permit for work in Turkey legally.
Work permit applications can be filed in Turkey or abroad. Who hold a residence permit within a remaining term of at least (6) months can file a work permit application in Turkey. If you haven’t a residence permit, you have to file an application with your document (labor agreement, partnership document in Turkey, etc.) to a consulate of republic of Turkey and recive a application number. All two tips of application will be continued at online system of the Ministiry of Labor and Social Security.
According the job and ındustry of employers, the necessary documents and conditions will be changed. The work permit applications are concluded by the ministry within 2-4 weeks.
If your application be granted by Ministry, the work permit is valid for (1) year. Second work permit will be valid for (2) years, and third work permit for (3) years in same employer and job .
Work permit act as a residence permit, therefore during work permit period foreigners don’t need a residence permit.

(1) Year: 600,50 TL
(2) Years: 1138 TL
(3) Years:1675,50 TL
PENALTY FINES (EACH PERSON) IN WORKING ILLEGAL :
For Employer : 6229 TL
For Employee: 2491 TL
These fees and fines don’t included legal monthly premium to be paid to the Ministry Of Labor and Social Security.
